Niamh Parsons and Siobhan Moore
Sunday 7.30pm The Summit Inn - Trad Singing Session

Niamh Parsons has come to be known as one of the most distinctive voices in Irish music. Her voice has drawn comparisons to such venerated singers as Dolores Keane and June Tabor. Described in the Boston Herald as both emotionally haunting and tonally as clear as crystal, Niamh's albums have been 'must-have' collector's items for any lover of songs and singing. Niamh has recorded seven solo studio albums and two live albums to date, as well as being a guest on numerous other albums.
Siobhan Moore, from Howth, is a highly respected singer and guitarist who’s pure voice has regularly been compared to Sandy Denny. Siobhan has performed and recorded with many artists but she is best know locally in Howth for her vocal performances on the album ‘Bull & The Ben Eadair Buccaneers’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0uH701JJxQ (which incidentally was recorded and produced by Paul Byrne - festival director of the Féile).
