Sunday 2pm on The Phil Lynott Stage @The Bloody Stream
Noiníní are a 5 piece, traditional Irish music outfit, who first formed in Co Kildare. Since first forming in their early teens, Noiníní has honed a specific sound and stage craft over the past 20-plus years, their natural friendship creating an effortless sense of fun at their live shows, while also intuitively bringing to their performance equal measures of sensitive, captivating and invigorating tunes and songs which have found favour at their many live shows around the country over their career, most recently performing at the inaugural Feile Liam O Flynn and Temple Bar Trad fest. They have recently been joined by their first ever male member, Derek Copley, whose bouzouki accompaniment has added a depth and warmth to the deep, rich traditional sound of the band.
Members of the band are: Ais Keogh (fiddle, vocals) Sinead Keogh (guitar, vocals, concertina), Mary Ann Ryan (uileann pipes, flute) and Maeve O'Hara (percussion, flute), Derek Copley (bouzouki).
