Spoonfed

From the village of Slane in County Meath, Spoonfed is a Irish folk duo featuring cousins Darren Faulkner and Gavin Carolan. Rooted in the traditions of Irish music and storytelling, their sound is inspired by legendary artists such as The Johnstons, The Dubliners, Frank Harte, and Planxty, as well as the wave of bands leading today’s folk revival.

A unique blend of bouzouki, guitar, mandolin, and bones, Spoonfed has a distinctive folk sound. Their performances offer an experience where the story plays a role providing insight into the songs and the people behind them, making each set both engaging and informative.
